Doing a Happy Dance!

Dancing 4 Cheeseburgers,

I have to say, I am very proud of my Weigh in Wednesday news! As this Journey continues, it does become more difficult to lose the pounds. I have to push myself more for example; I used to be able to walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes and get my heart rate up over 150 and have a good cardio work out. Now I have to walk for 5 minutes and run for 15 minutes to get my heart rate up over 150. Which before this Journey I never thought possible. Me running... hahaha I would have laughed in your face. 

So I have lost 2.5 lbs this week! YES I know! I could barely believe it either. What did I do different this week... hmmmm I ate a little bit of sugar (I don't normally) I did a ton of cardio! I either ran or climbed stairs all five days I work out. I also ate a little more carbs than I normally do! I ate less sodium for sure! Well I'll have to remember these wonderful tricks for next week!

Hello Dolly

Hello My Beautiful Cheeseburger Followers,

I have to say I had a wonderful week end! Food wise too! I was sooo good! My step mother made my favorites "hello dollies". And I only had 2 after my cheat meal. There was a lot of delicious food, some good for you and some not good for you, but I just ate the "good stuff".

I sort of cheated this morning....I weighed myself!

I can't wait for Weigh in Wednesday!!! You guys are going to be so proud of me! I'm now the smallest I've been in 6 years!

Short and Sweet

D4C,

I'm heading up to the Miramichi this week end! This is a food challenge all on it's own. I have one cheat meal that I've been hanging onto for this week end. Wish me luck! My goal this week is to have no GAIN. Cross your fingers! Miramichi is a tricky place, they love their cream sauces, pasta's, sweets and red meat! 

Big Shout out to my Bestie, ANG! She had her baby last night. A beautiful 7lbs girl! TAYLOR MAE!

Lost, Loss, Lose

Dancing 4 Cheeseburgers,

Weigh in Wednesday is today! I have lost ONE POUND. I'm a little happy about it, I wish it was more! I've decided to do another 5 day  raw cleanse. November 1 - November 5 I did this cleanse in September and it was amazing. I lost -5 lbs in 6 days! My goal this raw cleanse is to lose -5lbs in 5 days!  Although I'm making a few changes this time.  

Changes:
1. Keeping Caffeine in my diet (I had some horrible headaches) 
2. I'm only doing 5 days instead of 6 (honestly it was just one day too long for me!) 
3. I'm running it Sunday - Thursday 

For those of you who don't know what the raw cleanse is; here it is! You can eat as much raw food as you want but only raw. ( Raw nuts, fruits, vegetables. )  It's tricky, I wouldn't want it to be my lifestyle but it's an easy cleanse.

Pop Sparkle

I had a horrible horrible craving for pop. I used to crave Root Beer, like crazy! So I got a soda water with lime in it! It killed the craving! YES! WE did it!!! (It's hard getting through those cravings sometimes.)

Work out Schedule - JOIN ME!

Dancing 4 Cheeseburger Readers,

I had a hard week end staying on track, i'm not sure if I just needed a minute or what... So I kind of cheated, I stepped on the scales this morning, just to ease my curious mind. 

Down -1lbs! So (It's not weigh in Wednesday) but I thought I would share this great news. It made my morning a little easier and brighter. 

Work out Schedule: 

Monday: Abs/Cardio (45mins) 
Tuesday: Abs/Cardio (45mins) & Teaching Dance (2.5 hours) & 2 Squat Songs
Wednesday: Arms/Cardio (60 mins) 
Thursday: Cardio (45mins) & Zumba at Home (30mins) 
Friday:  Cardio (45mins) 

Total Hours of working out:  390 minutes = 4 100 calories burned (Approx.)

Killing it this week! Here are the Zumba exercises I'll be doing at home Thursday night, if you want to join me from yours.

Everyone keeps saying to me, "oh you must be so happy"  It's odd, Yes I am happy! But no happier than I was before. I'm healthier YES. And more active YES. But happier... I don't know. I've always been happy & grateful for what I have and who I am. Even at my heaviest I was "happy" it was sort of a different happy. But happy regardless! I just find it so interesting that people always say that! Food for thought I guess.

Doing it, Loving it, Shredding it.

Hello D4C,

Today is Weigh In Wednesday! YES YES YES, I lost 1lb! I know I seem too excited to have only lost 1 pound but with Turkey Dinner and a few little hiccups in the workout department, i'm beyond happy with the 1lbs this week! DOING IT! LOVING IT! SHREDDING IT! I'm on Week 21 of this fabulous life changing journey and I've lost a total of 45lb! (only 5 lbs away from the original goal) Now only 15lbs to the new goal! Can you believe that this is all happening. Hard work, perseverance and love really are the secret formula. I honestly feel if you want something badly enough and are willing to work for it, change for it and earn it, you will succeed. There is no trick to life, no loop holes that will get you somewhere faster, better or easier; but if you work hard and love hard, life will reward you. (Karma?)

I have to say I might have gone a little nuts last night! I taught an hour and a half dance class then I did 2 hours of Zumba! Hard ZUMBA, the best zumba classes I've had! (Emily you should do those sequences all the time, they were amazing! I'm SERIOUS - AMAZING)

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello Dancing 4 Cheeseburger Buddies,

Happy Thanksgiving! Sorry I took a little hiatus, I was busy getting ready for the big Thanksgiving Dinner at our house! It went so well. Only the second time I've ever cooked a turkey! I have to say it was a lot of work, but it was delicious. Turkey dinner was my Cheat Meal for the week, but it really wasn't even that bad!

For Turkey dinner I ate:
Turkey
Sweet Potato
Carrots
Turnip
Gravy
Dressing (lot's of Dressing)
1 Small piece of Pie

NOT TOO BAD, I don't think. Besides the Gravy, Dressing and Pie. Everything else was healthy. (everything in moderation right!) I'm dying to see how the scale reflects this.



We cooked a 24lbs Turkey!! There was so much Turkey we didn't know what to do with it all! 
I hope everyone had full turkey bellies too! 

Penelope helping me prep the dressing, by eating the bread! So sweet, look at that face! 


My weight loss goal this week is 1-1.5 lbs. I'm giving myself a little break because I had a wonderful turkey dinner with my family. We will see what tomorrow brings. I'll make sure I include a ton of pictures. Hopefully there's a loss, cross your fingers for me.

Weigh In Wednesday

It's Weigh In Wednesday! The day of the week I love and hate! I've lost 1.5lbs! Happy but sad. I really wanted that push for 2lb. But a loss is a loss! I'm happy with my slow and steady progress. I don't think there has been a week I haven't lost something. (I probably just jinxed myself haha)

Drop it like it's HOT

D4C,

I want to drop some POUNDS this week! WERK! Werk, Werk! 

Here is my werk out schedule this week: 

Monday: Lunch: Stair Climber & Treadmill  / Evening: Zumba Class +  (100 push ups) 
Tuesday: 2.5 hours teaching dance + (100 push ups & 2 squat songs) 
Wednesday: Lunch: Stair Climber, Elliptical & Treadmill /  Evening: Abs work out & 100 push ups
Thursday: OFF 
Friday: Ab work out & 100 push ups & Squat song
Saturday: OFF 
Sunday: 100 push ups, squat song & abs work out

Tomorrow is Weigh in Wednesday, I'm feeling pretty confident that I've lost maybe 2lbs? We'll see tomorrow, but I feel lighter....  I just realized, I only have 17.5 lbs till my goal! WOW - saying that feels insane! It seemed like such a large undertaking four months ago; And now I only have a few pounds to go. CHOO CHOO CHOO Come on Health Train, I can do it!!!

This is Day 6 of the 100 push up a day challenge, it's been going great (I did miss one day!) But my arms aren't even sore anymore! I'm wondering if I should make the challenge harder and do 150? What are your thoughts...

I haven't been "bad" this week, but I haven't been able to get my Sh*t together! I haven't worked out as much as I normally do, and I've been eating healthy but not as healthy as I normally do. Someone lend me some MOTIVATION!!! This is the first week since I started that I have felt "unmotivated". Possibly the weather? Maybe because my husband was away, and I was doing Mommy and Daddy duty. Or maybe because, I was just tired. What ever the reason, I need to SNAP OUT OF IT!!!  Give me a swift kick in the behind people, KARLA GET ON IT! (okay I feel better, back on the train - back to motivation city!)
